The Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Sciences and Humanities (hereinafter referred to as ‘the author’) accepts no liability for the topicality, accuracy, completeness or quality of the information provided. Claims for damages against the Author relating to material or immaterial damage caused by the use or non-use of the information provided are generally excluded, unless there is evidence of wilful intent or gross negligence on the part of the Author. The author expressly reserves the right to change, supplement or delete parts of the pages or the entire website without prior notice, or to cease publication temporarily or permanently.

In the case of direct or indirect references to external websites (“links”) that lie outside the author’s sphere of responsibility, liability would arise only if the author were aware of the content and it were technically possible and reasonable for him to prevent use in the event of illegal content. The author therefore expressly declares that, at the time the links were created, the linked pages were free from illegal content.
